Some sneak previews from my new portfolio…. Pilgrims waiting for the ceremony to start at the Golden Temple, Amritsar, India.
I met Dom in Agra and 24 hours later we were walking through the gates of the golden temple in Amritsar. He had been in India for about 48 hours and was a little jetlagged so he loaded hi speed b&w film into his Nikon F5 to shoot with. As soon as he saw the golden temple he realized his mistake and said “what kind of idiot shoots black and white at the golden temple!?? I mean, really?!” Undeterred, he shot some amazing and totally unique work that night as we spent the whole night wandering the temple grounds. This is one of my favorites.
